Mid-Week Prayer Opportunities

2:30 PM Thursdays (except the 4th Thursday) – Intercessory Prayer Time in the Parlor (to your left before the sanctuary)

Jesus healed the sick and hurting when He was with us. The Holy Spirit continues to heal even today. If you are in need of spiritual, mental, physical or emotional healing, or if you want to pray for the healing of others, consider attending the healing service on the fourth Thursday of every month. Each quarter there will be a Resting in His Presence service.

Several of our Healing Prayer team members have taken courses in the School of Healing Prayer® at the Christ the King Spiritual Life Center in Greenwich, NY and CentrePoint in Glens Falls, NY.

“If we truly love people, we will desire for them far more than it is within our power to give them, and this will lead us to prayer: Intercession is a way of loving others.” – Richard Foster

Prayer Works!

May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other
and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

1 Thessalonians 3:12

———–

“Prayer is the strength of our individual and community existence. It is through prayer that we find the heart of our love relationship with Jesus as individuals, and it is through the love relationship of Jesus working in individual lives that communities prosper in peace and unity. It is in the solitude of prayer that we find our true companion, and thus learn to be better companions of others. It is in the inner silence of prayer that we hear the living word of God, and thus learn to speak words that flow from the love of God to one another.”
