Appointed as Pastor by Bishop Webb in July 2013, Rev. Phil is deeply enjoying serving with the people called Methodist in Queensbury, NY. He loves preaching and teaching, youth ministries, and mission trips. Phil’s wife and two children love the area and are making new friends all over town! His education background includes Houghton College, Roberts Wesleyan College, the University of Rochester, Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, and Northeastern Seminary.

Rev. Nancy Dibelius – Deacon for Discipleship
We are pleased to welcome Nancy as our new Deacon for Discipleship! She has completed training as a Spiritual Director and received certification in Spiritual Formation from the United Methodist General Board of Higher Education. Nancy received her master’s degree, summa cum laude, in Spiritual Formation and Evangelism from Garrett-Evangelical theological Seminary and was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa , the national honor society for religious studies/theology. In June, 2017, she was commissioned as a provisional deacon in the Upper NY Conference and is Associate Director of Spiritual Life for Vital Congregations.
Meg Hagerty – Director of Community Engagement
Meg’s professional experience includes both advertising and executive secretarial work during the 80s & 90s. In the 2000s and to this day, Meg is well known for her writing work at the Post-Star as well as many local volunteer organizations. She has a bachelor’s degree from The College of Saint Rose and brings her gifts of organizational management, public relations, communications, and advertising skills into this new role. Most of all, Meg brings passion, life-long membership to the UMC of Queensbury, and her love for our community (both the church community and our local community) to bear upon this exciting venture of living out our call to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Queensbury.
Carol Ann Elze-Sussdorff – Director of Music & Arts
Carol Ann is the organist and Director of Music Ministries of the United Methodist Church of Queensbury. We love the musical excellence that Carol Ann brings to our worship services at UMCQ. Carol Ann is also, as the Skidmore college website says, “collaborative pianist in the Departments of Dance and Music at Skidmore College. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Crane School of Music. Upon graduation, Carol Ann discovered her love of playing for ballet at Union College, where she had the good fortune to play Master Classes for Founding Artistic Director of Miami City Ballet, Edward Villella, and former NYCB Principal Dancer, Kyra Nichols. She served as music instructor at St.Mary’s/ St.Alphonsus Regional Catholic School in Glens Falls, where she founded a comprehensive choral and music instruction program for elementary through middle students. From 2009-2014 Carol Ann served as Music Director and Conductor of the Glens Falls Symphony Children’s Chorus, and has been accompanist for Adirondack Voices, a community chorus, since 1999. She maintains an active accompanying schedule in the music department, rehearsing, coaching and performing with both instrumentalists and vocal students, and continues working with standout regional high school musicians.”
Kristen Lambiaso – Director of Children’s Ministries
A longtime member of UMCQ, Kristen Lambiaso completed her Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from SUNY Plattsburgh. Kristen’s love for God’s Word, her education in literacy and her love for children are brought together in her passion for ministering to Christ’s youngest disciples.
Debbie Romanazzi – Administrative Director of Preschool & School Age Care Programs
Debbie is celebrating her 18th year as the Director of our School Age Care programs. Debbie is a Registered Nurse, having studied at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Debbie does much more for UMCQ than just the admistrative direction of our Child Care programs and we are thankful for her organizational skills, her dedication to the maintenance of the church, and the many ways she goes above and beyond for the community.
